Crafting an Artisan Tea Brand Mark

Vietnam has a deep tea culture, but the herbal tea segment is growing rapidly as urban consumers seek health-conscious alternatives to sugary drinks. Pine Tea wanted a logo that would work on product packaging, social media, and eventually a direct-to-consumer website.

The brief was specific: the logo needed to feel artisanal and natural — not clinical or pharmaceutical — while being immediately recognizable on a shelf full of competitors. It needed to work at small sizes on tea packaging labels and large sizes on storefront signage.

We explored over 20 concepts before landing on the circular emblem format — a tea cup silhouette centered within a ring adorned with small leaf motifs. The circular form echoes traditional Vietnamese seal marks, lending an air of authenticity and craft. The green palette ranges from deep forest green in the outlines to a fresh lime in the cup, creating depth and visual interest.

The tagline "Finest herb for your health" is integrated into the lower arc of the ring, ensuring the wellness message is always present with the brand mark. We delivered the logo in 8+ format variations: full color on light, full color on dark, single-color versions, horizontal lockup, and icon-only for small applications like social media avatars.
