What it does
WordPress tells you when a plugin has an update. It does not tell you when a plugin has stopped having updates at all. Plugin Health Audit asks the WordPress.org plugin directory about every plugin on your site - through the same public API WordPress itself uses to check for updates - and reports the answer, plugin by plugin.
For site owners, agencies and maintenance teams who need a factual, exportable picture of plugin risk before a client review or a WordPress upgrade.

Closed listings: the date and the stated reason WordPress.org published when it closed a plugin (security issue, author request, guideline violation).
Time since the last release, with plugins flagged at one year and again at two years without a release.
Recorded compatibility: plugins whose tested-up-to version is more than two WordPress releases behind.
Findings ordered by significance, exportable as CSV for a spreadsheet or Markdown for an email or maintenance report.
Never runs during a page load: audits run on demand or on a daily schedule, and only api.wordpress.org is ever contacted.
Factual relay only: the report states what the directory publishes and attributes it. It never guesses at abandonment.
